Change of Scenery

We touched down onto California soil a few hours ago after ridiculously cramped plane trips (two of them, thank you very much). Our honeymoon has begun, and we've settled into our precious room at Hotel Boheme. It's in the heart of North Beach, just down the road from Chinatown, and up the street is Washington Square Park where we picniced on a delicious and pricey sandwich on french bread. Life already feels like it's slowed down to a leisurely pace, and just being with Stacy and sharing this city she fell in love with so many years ago is wonderful. San Francisco in many ways feels like coming home. Spent part of the afternoon wandering through City Lights, and now we're back in our cozy room relaxing after a long day of traveling.
